A Bernard Cuzner silver condiment set
Price: Sold
For sale is this fabulous, small, heavy Bernard Cuzner silver condiment set comprising mustard, salt and pepper. Typical of Cuzner’s work, it is beautifully made with chased stylized floral decoration. The set retains its original spoon and glass liner with the mustard. The set is a later work by Cuzner dating to 1949/50 and in excellent original condition. This is a really beautiful set of silver in the arts and crafts tradition with a post war twist.
Cuzner (1877-1956) was head of metalwork at the Birmingham School of Art from 1910 to 1942. His work can be seen in the Victoria and Albert Museum silver room 67, case 7.
