A Guild of Handicraft set of six silver gem set spoons in their original box

For sale is this wonderful and imaculate set of six Guild of Handicraft silver gem set spoons in their original box.  Each spoons is fully assayed for GofH Ltd and dated  London 1905.  The design attributed to Charles Ashbee.  The spoons’ bowls are all subtley gilded and the stems still carry their original planished patina. The spoons are a set of three pairs, two green chrysoprase, two amethyst and two lighter purple stones, that I think are amethyst also.  The finials appear to depict stylized flowers, maybe tulips.

These are either large teaspoons or coffee spoons measuring 12.5 cm each.  I would say they have never been used or out of the box.  The box itself is also in excellent condition and the inner silk carries the Guild’s name and addresses.

For a very similar set of slightly smaller teaspoons see Annalies Krekel-Aalberse, “Art nouveau and art deco silver”.
