A Harry Warmington (G of H) spoon with fire opal
A Harry Warmington silver spoon set with fire opal to the finial. Harry Warmington worked for the Guild of Handicraft from around 1914 to 1966. Most of his work carries their G of H mark. This spoon carries his rarer personal mark. The design of the spoon dates back to c.1900 and Ashbee’s era with the Guild. This spoon dates from 1953 and is beautifully made of a very good gauge of silver. A really lovely piece to hold.
