A Jessie King for Liberty gold and moonstone small brooch

For sale is this beautiful Jessie King gold brooch with two moonstones and blue enamel flowers.  The brooch is marked, L&Co for Libertys, and 15 carat.   It is model 1606E in the Liberty Jewellery sketch book, page 23.

Condition of the brooch is excellent and original.  The moonstones are a good colour with hint of blue. The enamels are all intact.

Jessie Marion King (1873-1949) is a famous Glasgow school artist, illustrator and designer.  She worked for Liberty & Co from c 1904-6 and was responsible for many of their later Cymric range jewellery designs.
