For sale is this small silver dish by Kate Harris depicting her classic “Dutch maiden” design.  The dish is marked for Goldsmith and Silversmiths (sponsor/retailer) but would have been made by William Hutton and Sons and carries the date of 1900.   This dish is in excellent original condition, with minimal wear or rubbing to the pattern and a very good gauge of silver.

Kate Harris was Hutton’s  leading designer c 1898-1904, based in their London studio, and is famous for her distinctive British art nouveau style.
