A silver and enamel arts and crafts buckle

Price: Sold

For sale is this is very good silver and enamel arts and crafts buckle retaining its original separate clasp.  The main buckle is fully assayed for George Houston, Birmingham, 1907.  The firm of George Houston is not known for items like this with enamel and I think it likely the original manufacturer was James Fenton.  The design and enamel are very much in the style of that firm.

The buckle is in excellent condition.
