An unusual William Hutton silver and enamel buckle

For sale is this rare and unusual silver buckle by William Hutton & Sons.  Assayed for London, and no doubt from Hutton’s London design studio, the design is attributed to Kate Allen.  The unusual feature of the buckle, which I have only seen on Kate Harris buckles previously, is how the centre of the buckle slots into the front to allow the buckle to be used as two parts.  In overall very good condition there are some small enamel losses to the outer rim of the centre, which are barely noticeable.
