Frederick Smythe Greenwood Silver Stone Set Bowl

Price: Sold

A rare heavy arts and crafts footed fruit bowl set with large green chrysoprase made by Frederick Smythe-Greenwood.  This maker is not well known and worked on his own for just two years between 1910 and 1912, before forming a partnership as Greenwood and Watts. His work is so close in style to that of Ramsden & Carr it is likely that he spent time in that workshop.  This piece is a very good  gauge of silver with well coloured deep stones and would grace any sideboard or dining table.
