Shagreen, silver and amethyst box

A particularly good and decorative John Paul Cooper (attributed) shagreen box, with silver strapwork and an amethyst finial, on ball feet. The box is not hallmarked or signed but has all the characteristics of John Paul Cooper’s work. The box probably dates to around 1915.
