A rare Child and Child silver butter spade
A Child and Child (Harry Child mark) silver butter spade. Child and Child were the famous artistic late Victorian and Edwardian jewellers based in Kensington. Patrons included Edward Burne Jones. They are renowned for their jewellery and occasional silverware and enamels. This piece represents a very rare piece of flatware by this firm. An elegant piece of good gauge.
