This is another particularly nice good sized gold pendant by the well regarded arts and crafts jewellers Barnet Henry Joseph – see archive for further examples. It is clearly influenced by the Liberty jewellery of Archibald Knox and others.  The central stone is mother of pearl. The pendant is marked for BHJ and 9 carat gold.  In excellent original condition.  This is being sold without a chain.

Barnet Henry Joseph was a longstanding jewellery company from the Victorian period that started making a range of affordable gold art nouveau style jewellery from c 1900-1920.
