A Bernard Cuzner silver milk jug
Price: Sold
I have had this piece previously and this small milk or cream jug is just a “perfect” piece of silver by Bernard Cuzner, carrying his own B.C mark. The pattern on the jug is classic Cuzner which he also used extensively for Liberty & Co. Like most of Cuzner’s own hand made work it is beautifully made and a really good gauge of silver. See detailing on the handle.
Cuzner (1877-1956) was head of metalwork at the Birmingham School of Art from 1910 to 1942. His work can be seen in the Victoria and Albert Museum silver room 67, case 7.
