A copper and silver potpourri bowl by John Paul Cooper

A rare copper and silver potpourri lidded bowl attributed to John Paul Cooper. The piece is unmarked but has all the characteristics of Cooper’s work and this piece is very similar to one held by the Higgins Bedford Museum (see images). The lidded bowl is made of a copper body that has a polished patina. The lid is of copper and silver, the design of different cut out plants The lid rim and body set with classic Cooper silver wirework.
