A Jessie King for Liberty silver and moonstone pendant

For sale is this beautiful Jessie King silver pendant with two moonstones and blue and violet enamel flowers.  The brooch is unmarked, but similar examples can be seen in the Liberty jewellery sketch book page 305.   See Tadema archive for an identical pendant at this link.

Condition of the brooch is excellent and original.  The moonstones are a good colour with hint of blue. The enamels are all intact and a particularly good play of blue  to violet colour.

Jessie Marion King (1873-1949) is a famous Glasgow school artist, illustrator and designer.  She worked for Liberty & Co from c 1904-6 and was responsible for many of their later Cymric range jewellery designs.
