For sale is this small silver and Powell glass vase by Kate Harris.  The vase is marked for William Hutton and Sons and carries the early date of 1899.  The design is Harris’ classic floral pattern registration number 322249, which also is marked on this vase.   This is a beautiful, elegant, design in immaculate original condition.

Kate Harris was Hutton’s  leading designer c 1898-1904, based in their London studio, and is famous for her distinctive British art nouveau style.
