A Liberty & Co silver dish and spoon by Bernard Cuzner

Price: Sold

A  beautiful silver lidded dish by Bernard Cuzner for Liberty & Co, 1911. The dish still has its original spoon.  The bowl and spoon marked with model number 5285 and shown in the Liberty Silver Sketch Book.  A really good gauge of silver and one of the nicest pieces by Cuzner I have seen.  Cuzner (1877-1956) was head of metalwork at the Birmingham School of Art from 1910 to 1942. His work can be seen in the Victoria and Albert Museum silver room 67, case 7.
