A Liberty & Co silver dish by Bernard Cuzner

A  beautiful silver dish by Bernard Cuzner for Liberty & Co, 1913. The decoration in the “Elizabethan” style is typical of Cuzner’s work and can be seen in his book “Decorative Metal Overlay”.  Cuzner (1877-1956) was head of metalwork at the Birmingham School of Art from 1910 to 1942. His work can be seen in the Victoria and Albert Museum silver room 67, case 7.
