A Liberty & Co silver inkwell designed by Bernard Cuzner
This unusual and rare arts and crafts silver inkwell is made by William Hair Haseler for Liberty & Co, the design originally attributed to Oliver Baker, now known to be by Bernard Cuzner. See A1574. The inkwell includes classic Baker and Cuzner features of riveted strap work and coiling wirework. This inkwell is marked W.H.H for Haselers who made all Liberty’s Cymric silver and appears in the Liberty & Co silver sketch book at the Westminster Archive with model number 658.
