A large Liberty Cymric silver biscuit box
Price range: Sold
For sale is this lovely, large and heavy, Liberty Cymric silver biscuit box or cannister. The designer is hard to identify. The box exhibits elements of Knox’s fabric designs and is a very similar pattern to the terminal of the Sabra tea spoon which is usually attributed to Knox. Equally there are elements of Oliver Baker and David Veasey’s work in the design. Irrespective, this is an unusually large, beautfiul and usable piece of Liberty Cymric silver in excellent condition. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1902.
