A pair of Liberty silver candlesticks by Bernard Cuzner

For sale is this very good, post Cymric, Liberty & Co pair of silver candlesticks with classic Bernard Cuzner decoration.  Fully assayed for Birmingham 1911 with correct part marked original sconces.  Cuzner designed most of Liberty’s silver by Haseler between 1910 and around 1939.  The candlesticks are model number 50185 in the Liberty silver sketch book.

Cuzner (1877-1956) was head of metalwork at the Birmingham School of Art from 1910 to 1942. His work can be seen in the Victoria and Albert Museum silver room 67, case 7.

In very good antique condition. With felt bases.
