A rare Herbert Maryon silver inkwell

For sale is this rare silver hand hammered double inkwell, fully assayed for Herbert Maryon. It is dated Chester 1910. The inkwell holds two square hobnail glass inkwell with silver hinged lids. There is a central smaller silver well and a pen tray to the front. All three lids carry punched / chased design to the edges. All lids and silver collars are part marked. The inkwell is heavy (with and without the heavy glass inkwells) and is a really lovely authentic arts and crafts piece.
Herbert Maryon has an extensive Wikipedia page at this link. In summary Herbert James Maryon was born in St. Pancras, London England on 9 March 1874. He studied at Regent Street Polytechnic in London from 1896 to 1900, and at Central School of Arts and Crafts in London where he was taught enamelling by Alexander Fisher (1864-1936). He then served an apprenticeship with C.R. Ashbee (1863-1942) in London from 1896 to 1898, following which he worked for a time in the workshop of the architect and designer Henry Wilson (1864-1934). Notably, he was principal designer for the Keswick School of Industrial Art 1900-1904. He then moved to the University of Reading and then Armstrong College in 1928, part of Durham University. He taught sculpture, metalwork, modelling, casting, and anatomy until 1939, following which he was involved with technical work for the British Museum. He died in 1965.
