A rare Kate Harris art nouveau style silver tazza

A previously unseen Kate Harris silver tazza, known only until now by its design drawing registered by William Hutton & Sons on 28th January, 1901 number 369260. The drawing exhibits all the characteristics of Kate Harris’ designs.  This tazza carries that registration number and is hallmarked for Halford & Sons, who are known to have retailed under their mark some of Kate Harris’ more elaborate pieces made by William Hutton.  This large tazza is a stunning example of Harris’ work.
