A set of four silver arts and crafts dishes with rivet design
Price Sold
For sale is this set of four Henry Wigfull silver dishes in the arts and crafts style with faux rivet design. The stems have rivets and a seam line to two sides, giving the impression of two sheets of metal being rivettted together. The “rivets” then surround the dish and the base also. All the dishes are marked identically for Sheffield 1906.
The dishes are a great and unusual design in their own right but what makes them especially good is that they make a great match for the classic James Dixon “riveted” candlesticks. See images.
All four dishes are in excellent condition with clear marks and well defined faux rivets. Note that they have been highly polished and the silver is “bright”.
