A signed Kate Harris art nouveau silver box
Price: Sold
For sale is this really beautiful William Hutton sterling silver box signed by Kate Harris, “K. Harris, Sculpt”. The lid of the box is embossed with her classic maiden head design holding a mirror. This is a near identical example to the box I previously sold see item A381 in the archive. Almost certainly these signed pieces are exhibition pieces, conceivably for the Paris 1900 Exhibition where Kate Harris’ designs received a commendation by the French judges.
The box is in very good condition with just a slight loss of definition to be expected in a piece of this age.
