A small Liberty gold and pearl Cymric brooch by Archibald Knox

A lovely example of a small Liberty Cymric gold and amethyst brooch by Archibald Knox. This brooch design will appear in Dr Stephen Martin’s forthcoming revised book  on ”Archibald Knox”.  The brooch is model 1287, page 3, in the Liberty silver sketch book.

The brooch is in excellent original condition.   It is unmarked and untested but I am confident it is 15 carat gold or better.
