An Archibald Knox Cymric silver clock for Liberty & Co

For sale is this large silver Liberty & Co Cymric silver clock, designed by Archibald Knox.   The shape of this clock appears to be inspired by the local Isle of Man runic stones and the front is ornamented with an early Knox organic leaf design that can be found in the Silver Studio Archive designs.  It is model number 5075 in the Liberty sketch book and appears in Dr Stephen Martin’s book, Archibald Knox, on page 237.  The clock  is hallmarked for 1903.

The movement is not currently working but the clock will be sold in guaranteed working condition.
