An Archibald Knox Cymric silver vase for Liberty &Co

For sale is this stunning silver vase, model 2025, by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co’s Cymric range. This is one of my favourite Knox designs, strikingly modern and beautiful.  The vase is embossed with a classic Knox geometric Celtic design.

This model 2025 comes in two sizes, this is the larger version standing at 21.5 cm tall.  The vase was produced by Liberty with and without enamel.  For a matched pair of identical vases see Sotheby’s Warshawsky sale at this link.

This model appears, with enamel,  in Dr Stephen Martin’s book  “Archibald Knox”, second edition, page 184, model 2025.

The silver is in excellent original condition. There is an engraving to the underside of the base.
