An Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co Cymric silver buckle

Price: Sold

For sale is this beautiful Archibald Knox silver and enamel buckle for Liberty & Co’s Cymric range.  This is a particularly good example with a lovely play of purple blue and green enamels.  This buckle appears in Dr Stephen Martin’s book “Archibald Knox” (2nd edition) page 268, model 184.

This piece is fully hallmarked on both pieces of the buckle for Birmingham 1907.  The buckle is in excellent original condition with no restoration.  There is a tiny area of damage visible under magnification only (possibly original firing damage) to the lower left enamel panel.
