An Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co silver pin tray with flower enamels
Price: Sold
For sale is this unusual small Liberty & Co Cymric silver tray. The design of the tray is undoubtedly by Archibald Knox with his classic cut back sides. The pin tray holds two small flower enamels which may be designed by Archibald Knox but are commonly thought to be of Jessie King design. Fully marked for Liberty, 1905. I have never seen this design of tray before and it really a very nice piece “in the hand”. It is a good gauge of silver in excellent condition with original enamels with just one tiny area of loss to one petal – see images.
