An Omar Ramsden original 1919 invoice

A rare survival is this Omar Ramsden invoice for a major commission dated 1919.  The invoice is especially fascinating as you can clearly see that it is a Ramsden and Carr invoice (presumably printed pre-1914) that Ramsden has crossed out the Alwyn Carr name in the logo!  Testimony to the well reported acrimonious break-up of their partnership in 1918/1919 on Carr’s return from the First World War.

This invoice has now been sold and will be added to the Goldsmith Hall Library Ramsden archive.
