An outstanding Guild of Handicraft silver and enamel box

Price range: Sold

This outstanding Guild of Handicraft silver box has a delicate opalescent flower and leaf and branch design.  It is one of the most sophisticated enamels I have seen by the Guild.  It is probably by Arthur Cameron or William Marks.  Unusually the lid of the plaque is stepped in two levels, each carrying the enamel design. The enamel is in excellent and original condition.

Fully hallmarked for London 1904.
