An outstanding Hugo Lundstedt Swedish silver casket

A wonderful Hugo Lundstedt (1876-1969) silver and enamel casket in the arts and crafts tradition.  The casket also set with glass (maybe quart or moonstone) cabochons.

Hugo Lundstedt was a renowned Swedish silversmith active from c 1905-1945.  He worked independently in Gothenburg from c 1910 and was an active exhibitor at the Scandinavian and Baltic national exhibitions of the period.  More information can be found on Lundstedt at this link to Sweden’s National Museum who display a similar silver and enamel arts and crafts flower bowl by Lundstedt from the same period.
