An unmarked silver abalone hand hammered spoon

Price: Sold

An authentic hand made arts and crafts silver spoon with abalone set finial.  The stem of the spoon augmented with geometric notched design.

I have not been able to identify the maker of this spoon despite the strong sense of having seen something, marked, similar before.  The use of abalone, and overall feel of the spoon, points to Mary Thew, but less so its design.  Otherwise my feeling is that it is Birmingham School.
