Archibald Knox pewter, abalone and enamel clock
Price range: ££8,950
A pewter Liberty & Co Tudric clocc by Archibald Knox. Dating from around 1902 this is an exceptional example of Knox’s modernist work, almost art deco in style. This exact clock appears in Paul Carter Robinson’s book “20th Centruy Pewter”.
The condition of the clock is very good. The movement is working and keeping good time (not guaranteed). The pewter has been gently polished so retains an original patina and silver grey colour. The enamel face has a hairline firing crack. The abalone retains good lustre.
