Charles Ashbee Silver Porringer

Price: Sold

A wonderful example of a Charles Ashbee porringer for the Guild of Handicraft set with a particularly nice vibrant green chrysoprase.  This bowl only carries the G of H Ltd mark. Pieces by the Guild of Handicraft with no date or assay marks are not uncommon and are usually thought to have been made as gifts for friends or family.  The absence of these other marks is reflected in my price for the piece and it is also possible they are simply rubbbed.
