A very early buckle by Ramsden & Carr. The buckle dates to 1901, only the third full year of production by the two silversmiths. Made of a good gauge of silver it depicts two dolphins or fish and the initials interpreted as MSY. The buckle appears to be complete as a single centre piece with independent unmarked silver link.
