An excellent set of teaspoons by Archibald Knox for Liberty
A set of six “Decos” Cymric spoons for Liberty. Original Liberty box. Makers mark Liberty & Co. 11.0 cm long, 12 grams (each). Birmingham 1903. Attributed to Archibald Knox. See pages 59, 70 of Simon Moore’s book “Artists Table Cutlery and Related Items”.
The spoons and enamel are in excellent original condition. The enamels have a particularly good play of red, blue, purple and green on several spoons. These spoons typically retail at between £125 and 3175 each.
